Backlash: Senate Replies Obasanjo, Demands Return Of His Presidential Library To Federal Government

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has reacted to former president Olusegun Obasanjo's derogatory remarks, labeling them unarmed robbers.
The Senate said Obasanjo should be ignored, as the house as an institution was not ready to waste time replying the ex-president.

It also asked the former President to return his Presidential Library to the Federal Government, noting that it was built with public fund.

Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, who described the love of the former president for controversy, said Obasanjo deserved no reply.

He said, “He is too controversial to deserve a reply. Let him return his Presidential Library to the Federal Government because clearly, it was financed with public funds"
